Miya Korean Japanese Cuisine

Formerly known as Sushi.com, over on North University Avenue, this restaurant reopened as a smaller, more elegant destination restaurant called Miya, named after owner Don Kim's wife, Mi Hea. Now that the restaurant is no longer confusingly sprawled on both sides of the hallway in the building that also houses Silvio's pizzeria, Kim decided his menu belonged more in the sit-down category and that a makeover was in order. The menu changes will come gradually, says Kim, but the smaller, more upscale Miya is a whole new restaurant with a renovated and moved kitchen, all new lighting, a new sushi bar and a wide variety of Japanese beer and Korean liquor.
