Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe

The Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe is part of the Bird-in-Hand family of properties in the heart of Lancaster County's Amish farmlands. The Smucker family invites you to get to know their village, to taste the farm-fresh goodness of its bounty and to experience the tradition of hospitality and good food that they have passed down from generation to generation.

Their roots are in farming, and the fields still provide today. Their cafe menu includes a wide selection of delicious handcrafted sandwiches on home-baked, whole-grain breads; plus crisp salads, hot soups and delectable desserts, including fresh-baked pies and cakes. They still make many of their baked goods from scratch, including those from Grandma Smucker's recipes. Be sure to savor a scoop of premium hand-dipped artisan ice cream made on the premises with local fruits and all-natural flavorings. It's crafted by hand in small batches in a variety of favorite flavors - including some that feature stir-ins from the bakery, like whoopie pies and pumpkin pie crust.
