Bring Our Music Back Inc Presents August Nights at The Harkness 2012 Summer Concert Series

With the 5-year State of Connecticut contract firmly in place, Bring Our Music Back, Inc. announces the 2012 Summer Concert Series "August Nights at Harkness . . . Music the way it was!" at the revered state landmark, Harkness Memorial State Park, located along the shoreline in Waterford.

Four concerts are scheduled for August. This year's theme takes a walk down memory lane heralding Americana and its iconic legends! The greatest talent, including The Temptations Revue, The Legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Don McLean in concert and The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra under the direction of Denise Macrell, will take the stage this summer!

All concerts will be held from 5:30pm-10pm, rain or shine, with back up rain site being the Garde Arts Center. Doors open at 4:00pm for traditional picnicking. And remember picnicking is a must and dancing is welcomed!
