The Flame Broiler began as an entrepreneurial adventure when Young Lee, freshly graduated with a degree in Economics from UCLA, found there to be a serious lack of healthy fast food options available for those on the go. Thus, The Flame Broiler was born and was later franchised in 1999 so that his model of healthy fast food, courteous service, and a clean environment could be provided to hungry customers nationwide. The Flame Broiler at Newbury Park is independently owned and operated by franchisee.
