Countryside Woodcrafts had its beginnings in 1988 as a small workshop on an Amish farm in the pastoral farmlands of Lancaster County, PA. They began building birdhouses and feeders as a way to earn some additional income to support the farm. Demand for those items was relatively strong, and they began to explore ideas for other items that could be made. Over time, the mix of products grew to include several styles of patio furniture, garden arbors, pergolas for outdoor rooms, and backyard swing sets.
To this day, Countryside Woodcrafts maintains a tradition of quality and employs skilled Amish craftsmen to build everything they sell. Today they are sold by some of the biggest names in retailing, and can be found at over 300 locations!
