A neighborhood favorite for almost forty years, the diner started as a Jewish delicatessan in the early 1970's. This was way back when Baymeadows Road was a two lane road. To this day, Deerwood Diner still serves the best corned beef in town. Their reuben's are one of the house favorites.
They also have preserved the tradition of slicing their meat fresh daily. Choose from the finest certified angus brand roast beef, pastrami, corned beef, turkey and ham. Their all white breast meat chicken salad is home made, as is their egg salad and tuna salad made from solid albacore. From the diner concept, they offer old fashioned hamburgers made from certified angus brand ground chuck, milk shakes, and home made pies like chocolate peanut butter pie, coconut cream pie, and even old fashioned red velvet cake.
And if that's not enough, they serve breakfast all day long. Three egg omelettes, belgian waffles, french toast, and their famous bacon make a great start to any day.
