The story of Panza's Restaurant began in the late 1800s when Ma Panza and her husband, Joseph, came from Italy by way of Brazil and settled in Mechanicville, New York. They came to America with recipes for countless authentic Italian dishes, which were novel culinary experiences for the non-Mediterranean palates that dominated upstate New York at that time. The restaurant has evolved to become a community staple over its 75-year span, serving hearty pastas, savory entrees, signature pizzas and more with aplomb.
For ambiance, Panza's hosts live music weekly, along with an elegant ballroom and full-service packages for weddings and special events. Catering is also available.
