While the main business is about takeout and delivery, Shangrila Bistro does offer a relaxing dining room atmosphere of multicolored prayer cloths and scrolls and a ceiling aglow with ornate mirrored-fabric lanterns.
Since the grand opening of Shangrila, many people have come to taste Tibetan food with curiosity and have left with great satisfaction. AJC reporter Bob Townsend wrote an article "Asian Spot Isn't Far-Away Myth" detailing his wonderful experience with Shangrila's capable staff and Tibetan cuisine. Even more, in Atlanta's favorite city guide, Creative Loafing Atlanta, the food of Shangrila Bistro was described as "fascinating". There isn't any better way to taste authentic Tibetan food than to come enjoy the delicacies that Shangrila has to offer.
