Zen Fusion's menu includes options for vegans and carnivores alike. Some favorites are the Vegetable Pozole soup and Fritay, a Haitian fry up consisting of plantains, yucca balls, sausage, and a tangy slaw. Entrees range from Griot (succulent twice-cooked pork served with rice, beans and fried plantain), Ginger Chili Shrimp accompanied by a pillow of jasmine rice and a phenomenal Vegan Pastelon, a Caribbean "lasagna" layered with sweet plantains and soy chorizo.
Of course, no 3-course meal is complete without dessert. The coconut rice pudding (a vegan and gluten-free choice) and the extra special Haitian beignets with a caramel rum sauce both allow you to bask in the glory that was your meal at Zen Fusion. BYOB
