Located in Dayton, The Original Thin Crust Pizza Company is a favorite in Central New Jersey. Owner Matt Verney used to work for Vitale's Restaurant where the Vitale family created a famous pizza recipe. In 2003, the Vitale family decided to close their restaurant and retire. In 2016, when Matt Verney opened The Original Thin Crust, he reached out to the Vitale family for their blessing in resurrecting the special pizza recipe. Utilizing a recipe handed down now from the Vitale family to Matt Verney, owner, proprietor and chief pizza-maker at The Original Thin Crust Pizza Company, Matt was honored to hire a previous pizza shop owner, Michael Vitale as the head chef in the pizza kitchen. Along with Matt's family and a dedicated staff, they're committed to giving you delicious food at affordable prices in a comfortable, bistro-esque atmosphere. Come and try for yourself.
