Originally established in 1977 by the head chef and owner Kosta Vretas and eventually run by George Manasakis, Romano is currently a family-owned restaurant ambitiously driven by talent, aspirations and inventiveness of the young chef-proprietor Maksym Kulik (Le Cordon Bleu graduate) with considerable experience in popular high-end restaurants and hotel chains in London, Kyiv and Tampa-who collectively have been continued to keep alive old culinary traditions while giving the restaurant new life for generations to come.
